How this journey began for me:
There are times in our life when we come to a crossroads. A powerful truth resides in the importance of discovering how to live and not merely exist. During a transitional period in life, I found myself
traveling, searching for my own potential. I witnessed that most of humanity seemed to be looking
for a purpose that would resonate with the soul. How could we create an existence of inner peace and genuine joy that would allow service to humanity?
During these illuminating travels, I sought out solitude in nature & temples, yoga & meditation … Finding a sanctuary within these foreign places helped me connect with a deeper sense of self, knowing that in some way, big or small, my dharma was to help others who were also seeking a life of peace, happiness & well-being.
Upon returning home to Kauai after one of these soul-searching adventures, I was introduced to something I hadn’t come across before… the ancient science of Ayurveda. It was one of those moments in life when you are filled with recognition. What was missing had been found.
With incremental progress, my physical health, emotional state and spiritual perspective became more positive. Ultimately, the idea to join this personal shift with the intention of guiding others to facilitate their own path to wellness was born. After earning a degree in massage therapy and health education in 2009, I committed myself to pursuing an Ayurvedic education and am blessed to be a support to those unearthing their road to a healthier life. I welcome you to join me as we embark on discovering your inner sanctuary together.
