Incorporating just a few proven methods into your lifestyle can bring about radical changes. Ayurvedic medicine provides clients with the understanding that health is much more than the absence of disease.
Ancient sages intuitively understood the physiology and the advents of modern workings of the mind-body-spirit long before allopathic medicine, explained the basic principles of Ayurveda.IMG_1022 Recognizing that we are part of nature, Ayurveda explains three principle energies that govern our inner and outer environments: movement, transformation, and structure. In Sanskrit they are named:  Vata (Space & Air), Pitta (Fire & Water), and Kapha (Water & Earth).

These represent the forces responsible for the qualities (doshas) of our mind and body. Each of us has a unique proportion of these three forces that shapes our nature.

If we are dominated by Vata, there is the tendency to be thin, light, enthusiastic, energetic, and irregular.

When Pitta is prevalent in our nature, we tend to be intense, intelligent, and goal-oriented with a strong appetite for life.
